PJM Photography

Nantwich based Pete and June are the husband and wife team behind PJM Photography. Their relaxed approach to Wedding Photography allows them to produce beautiful, natural, timeless images, all while making you and your guests feel incredibly comfortable! Every couple they photograph receives a highly individual level of service and on top of that stunning wedding photographs they can treasure forever! We caught up with Pete and June to ask them where it all started, Pete said;

“Photography has been my hobby since my teenage years.  Even though it was just a hobby, I enjoyed learning and keeping up with new technology and trends and I tended to purchase the best cameras and lenses on the market, as I have to admit that I’m a bit of a gadget-man and that continues to grow with my love of photography equipment. Going professional was the best thing I’ve ever done, I absolutely loved turning my hobby into my work!”

Can you tell us a little about your style?

“We love the candid, informal style, but we’re more than happy to go with whatever the bride and groom wish. Whichever style they choose, they can rest assured that our relaxed approach to Wedding Photography allows us to produce beautiful, natural, timeless images, all while making the bride & groom and their guests feel incredibly comfortable. We provide each couple with an individual level of service, resulting in stunning wedding photographs they will treasure forever.”

What do you enjoy most about capturing a couples big day?

“A couple’s wedding day is one of the biggest days of their life and we class it as a privilege to be a part of it! We love everything about a wedding, from the bridal preparation, the look on the groom’s face as he catches the first glimpse of his bride to be, the exhilaration and buzz of the guests, right through to the first dance and party celebrations! Once the official ceremony is over, we love to mingle like guests, catching those ‘off the cuff’ moments, emotions and details that tell the real story of every wedding day.”

What advice would you give to couple when looking for their perfect wedding capture?

“Relax, be yourselves, but most of all, enjoy the day. Once that’s happening, just leave the rest to us!”

How do you help couples to relax and feel at ease in front of the camera?

“We offer a free pre-wedding shoot to every couple. This breaks the ice between us and helps to form a rapport, which makes for a more relaxed and stress-free wedding day!

And what do you guys do for fun outside of your wedding photography work?

“I love Motorsport and used to race a Yamaha TZ350.  Since hanging up my leathers, we still enjoy following the CRMC Race Meetings and yes, I take the photos, while June helps out in Race Control or Marshals. We also love spending time away in our motorhome, when we get the chance!”

So husband and wife team June and Pete are keen to make you feel relaxed and produce some amazing images when it comes to your big day, we asked them a few off the cuff questions and got the ball rolling with the classic describe yourselves in three words, Its harder when there are two of you but give it a whirl!

“Approachable, kind and helpful.”

June, if you could be any fictional character who would it be any why?

“The Invisible Man – can you imagine the fun I could have!”

Pete, who is your favourite band or artist?

“This has to be Queen, I so regret not seeing Freddie Mercury play live!”

And finally guys, if you were stranded on a desert island what three items would you want with you?

“A lighter, an axe and a blanket”

Approachable, kind and practical! Pete and June have capturing your big day covered, they turned their photography hobby into the company you see today through pure passion and the love of being a part of a couples wedding.
