What we're all about
Friendly and professional wedding photographer based in Edinburgh, covering Scotland. I take high quality, candid, reportage style images at the weddings I attend and approach every job with a smile on my face and aim to put everyone at ease. Taking bookings for 2018, 2019 and beyond! :)Check out our photography
- My services from the getting ready shots in the morning until an hour or so after the first dance at night
- All the high resolution images on a memory stick, with presentation box, for you to use as you wish (no watermarks)
- All post-production editing of the images
- Images hosted online in a private gallery for your family and friends to see and order reasonably priced prints from me (no watermarks on prints)
- Any post processing of images that you would like done (black and white conversions, etc)
Payment of a 20% deposit secures your booking and I don't ask for the remaining fee until you have seen the digital copies of your images via my website (usually 4-6 weeks after your wedding).
PACKAGE UPGRADES:
‘The Foss’ photobook +£200
The Foss features a large, horizontal format, linen bound, hardback photo book with dust jacket and contains around 100 images printed on professional grade paper. These books are excellent quality and will really show off your images to maximum effect.
‘The Rannoch’ photobook: +£400
The Rannoch features an A3 sized deluxe, superior linen bound, hardback presentation album with around 100 images printed on professional grade paper. The cover can be embossed with your names to add another nice touch to the finish. These high grade albums really are beautiful and will last a lifetime as well as look brilliant in your home.
Second Shooter: +£200
Having a second photographer at your wedding doubles the chance to capture all those amazing moments and memories that take place on your big day. I have several people ready to go as second shooters, all of whom are excellent photographers that I trust wholeheartedly to do a cracking job for you.
Engagement Shoot: +£300
Engagement shoots are a great chance for a practice run in front of the camera before your wedding. Not everyone loves having their picture taken so it’s up to us as photographers to make the experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible. And that’s where these engagement shoots come in. You can find out what I’m like while taking your photograph and, hopefully, see how pain free the whole process is. It’s also an opportunity to get a different style of shot from your wedding and you could always use the pictures on your wedding website/ invitation/ save the date cards/ etc.

Do we get all of the images to use?
As part of your package you will get a USB stick with the final selection of high resolution images on it to do with as you please. All I ask is if you share them on social media that you credit me as the photographer and link to my website/ profile.
How many pictures do we get on our USB?
It varies from wedding to wedding depending on number of guests, length of day, etc but generally it can be anywhere between 450 and 800 high resolution images. This final selection will have been edited down from everything shot on the day. You won’t get to see the ones where people have their eyes closed or mouths hanging open! :)
When will we get our pictures?
I provide a teaser selection of about 8-10 images a few days after the wedding so you can share a few on social media.but I tend not to edit a wedding straight away to allow my eyes some time away from the images so I can look at them from a fresh perspective. Usually my couples get their images no more than a month after their wedding.
Do you print our photos for us?
I create photo books using book publishers called SIM Imaging and Blurb – see the Products page for details. These are the main ‘albums’ and products that I give to my couples. You and your family can also order prints from me through my website.
Can we do some group shots?
We certainly can. Most of my couples want a few group shots and as a rough guide 10 different groups can take up to 30 minutes depending on how well behaved everyone is :)
Do you only shoot weddings in Scotland?
The majority of my weddings are in Scotland but I’ve been as far afield as Norway and Northern Spain to cover them. I will happily travel to Timbuktu to photograph your wedding!
How many weddings do you cover every year?
Between 15 and 20. I do other photography (and video) work over the course of a year to keep my creative muscles well exercised and to avoid burning out in one single area of photography.
Do we get all of the images to use?
