Heather Bailey Photography and Film
What we're all aboutI'm Heather; I've been a wedding photographer and filmmaker for almost eight years, during this time I have captured over 200 beautiful weddings across Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and the South West. I truly love what I do, and it's my mission to create the most beautiful tear-jerking memory for you both.
I'm a natural documentary style shooter, which means I'm a perfect match for couples who are looking for someone to capture their day without the cheesy and staged imagery often associated with weddings. Why should you invest in Heather Bailey?
I'm so passionate about what I do that I've invested years of experience perfecting discreet shooting methods and mastering the flow of a wedding day. I also spend 40-60 hours into each handcrafted film and photography package.
Do we need to meet with you before the wedding?
Ideally yes! Most people take up my free tea/coffee/wine offer, and of course, I'd love to meet you and get to know you. It's important to discuss all the details of your day to ensure I capture every moment. However, I understand that some couple remote plan their wedding and cannot always arrange meetings before their wedding. In this instant, a Skype/FaceTime/telephone conversation or two would suffice.
What areas do you cover?
Although I am based near Bath, I film weddings across Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire, Devon, Gloucestershire and beyond.
I'm happy to travel within 100 miles of the Bristol area at no extra cost.
What equipment do you use?
For film, I shoot with three Sony a7s ii cameras and a collection of Ziess lenses, a couple of trips-pods, a high-quality lavalier microphone (and lots of backup equipment). I do not use shoulder-mounts, big Steadicam equipment or noisy drones, after all, it's your wedding day, not an MTV music video! For photography I use a Canon 5D iii with a collection of 1.4 prime lenses - probably means nothing to most people, but now you know.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am covered by professional liability insurance and indemnity insurance.
