Thank you for taking the time to look through my site.My name is Michaela Brezinova, I am originally from Czech Republic. Here is a little bit about me and my love of wedding photography. I am a wedding photographer based in Glasgow, covering the whole Scotland and the UK.
About 3 years ago I was a guest at a cousin's wedding at Czech Republic, I took my camera of course. It was only when my friends and family compared my photographs with the photographers, I realized my work was just as good. I am now doing a job that I love and have an enormous passion for. I am very passionate about capturing stories and emotions of people.
I am an observer and an image maker. I went to Art&Creative school in college and studied NC, HNC & HND Photography in Glasgow Kelvin College.
In 2015 I turned my photography passion into a part-time business.
Outside of photography I’m interested in music, playing the guitar, singing and traveling.

What is your wedding photography style?
My style is very much a mixture of documentary or reportage wedding photography with elements of portrait and traditional wedding photography such a group shots and details. Please do check out my portfolio section for lots of recent wedding photographs.
My goal at your wedding will be to create a set of images that show the joy & love you felt on your wedding day as you were surrounded by your closest family and friends on one of the most important days in your life.
How far in advance should I book you?
I typically get booked anywhere from 3-18 months in advance. I would recommend putting down a deposit as soon as you have made your decision, so as to not miss out on a booking.
Do we need to meet?
Where at all possible I like to meet clients before I photograph the big day (saves the embarrassing "Who’s the bride?" question!). I do my client meetings in my favourite italien bistro Celino's on Alexandra Parade (Dennistoun, Glasgow), normally during weekday mornings/evenings, or via phone/Skype if that’s more convenient. Some people like to meet me before booking but some like to secure the date then meet up at a later date,… either’s fine with me!
Do you cover areas outside of Glasgow? How far do you travel?
In fact, I love travelling to new locations and will go wherever you invite me. I photograph weddings throughout the country so distance is no object. Travel expenses are included within the Glasgow area, if your wedding is further afield travel and accommodation costs may be extra.
Travel and accommodation are the only costs that will vary from client to client. I will always do my best to keep this to a bare minimum and make any extra costs as economical as possible. As each wedding is unique, please contact me for a quote specific to your day.
Do you need a shot list?
Having a shot list is not only beneficial for me, but also for you. Afterall, we don’t want to miss anyone for the family photos. In addition to the scheduled wedding events, I’m very observant and will be constantly looking for special moments throughout your celebration. An extensive list of every shot you can think of isn’t necessary.
How long does it take to get the photos?
My normal turnaround is 6-8 weeks, but usually closer to 6.
Have you shot at my location before?
If your location is in Glasgow, chance are, I have photographed it within the last few years. If not, I always love to discover new locations. If I haven’t been to your location, I am confident that I will do an excellent job capturing it. I love to discover new locations and scout them before a wedding to find those hidden gems for the portrait session.
Do we need to feed you on the wedding day? Do you have any dietary reqs?
I won’t lie – I love food, and when working (which is pretty tiring) I really love when I’m given a nice hot meal. I don’t need to be fed a three course wedding meal – although I won’t turn it down! Caterers often do a ‘crew meal’ of lasagne or something (yum) that they give the band, photographer etc and it is really appreciated if you can stretch to some kind of hot meal. Having said that, I know weddings are expensive and I can bring sandwiches if necessary. I have no specific dietary requirements – I’m not keen on fish but will wolf it down on a wedding day if that’s what’s on offer!
