What we're all about
I’m Jacqui, a documentary wedding photographer specialising in weddings throughout Manchester, the north west and the UK. You may have heard of this style of photography described as wedding photojournalism or reportage photography, What does this mean? Well It's all just a very nice way of saying that I am very observant and capture your day as it really is. It’s all about the real story telling of your day capturing all the fun, laughter, missed moments and all those little details you spent ages on. If you are looking for natural, relaxed images then you have come to the right place.My photography style is natural and relaxed capturing those precious moments in a documentary style. It’s normal to feel nervous and self-conscious about having your photograph taken, the majority of us feel this way. My aim is to make you forget about the camera. I will capture all the tears, joy and excitement as it happens, allowing you to do, what you should do on your wedding day, enjoy it!

Jacqui is an amazing photographer but just as importantly a fantastic and lovely person. She makes it her ambition to not only be your photographer but also to ensure you get the most out of the whole wedding experience. From the first time we properly met Jacqui at our engagement shoot she was enthusiastic about our theme and was constantly sending me over creative ideas that would just help the day come alive.
On our wedding day she was brilliant. Both Adam and I really enjoyed having her there and she helped with so much more than just taking the pictures. Organising, people, clearing up after us and keeping me calm!
We also had the photo booth on the day which was a fantastic late edition for us. The photo booth was great as it gave us a snap shot of all our guests immediately after the wedding to look at whilst on honey moon. Our guests loved this as well!
In terms of getting out photos, Jacqui had them to us for a unveiling less than 3 weeks after the big day which is excellent. They are amazing pictures that captured every moment of our special day.

Jacqui is an absolute professional, the idea of traditional wedding photos wasn’t what we wanted, she totally listened to us and we got the most perfect photos we could have asked for. Relaxed from start to finish, was lovely to have her around for the getting ready shots, she made myself and all my bridesmaids totally relaxed. About me..
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page, here is a little bit about me;
I love taking photographs and it has been my passion in life since I was child. My dad bought me my first professional camera and I knew from that moment on what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I've studied and worked as a photographer since I was 16 and achieved my BA Hons Photography degree in 2000. I am especially passionate about photographing weddings and capturing the special moments which will be treasured for a lifetime. I love connecting with couples and I adore photographing their special day ~ it is such a perfect match for me, I cannot express enough how much I love a good wedding! Although I am based near Manchester, I cover weddings throughout the North West and UK.
I work in an non-obtrusive manner and love to spend time getting to know you as a couple over a brew or two. I then don't feel like your photographer on the day more like one of your guests.
