We used the half day package for our wedding on Easter Sunday 2016. We have lots of brilliant photos of pre ceremony at the venue, the ceremony itself, group shots, couple shots, all the details as well of lots of unposed photos of our guests. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We first met with Nicola over coffee after a friend had recommended her for our wedding. At our first meeting she was very friendly and professional. Nicola showed us examples of her work she'd previously done, and we loved her style of photography. We had chosen to have the full day with Nicola. She captured beautiful photos of me and my bridesmaids getting ready, and we hardly noticed she was there. That's how the rest of the day followed. She took amazing natural photos of everyone throughout the day and evening. And of course the traditional formal pictures we'd asked for. What experience do you have?
I have trained and assisted with some of the best wedding photographers in the UK. I made a conscious decision to take my photography more serious a few years ago when I started studying part time for a degree in Professional photography with Plymouth university. Since then I have completed an extensive course in wedding photography and attended many different types of workshops. Not forgetting the many weddings I have photographed in all different types of venues and weather conditions.
What equipment do you use?
I am a Nikon girl, I love the colours they produce and the high ISO capabilities allowing me to use as much natural light as possible. At each wedding I work with two full frame cameras and professional lenses. I have a mixture of high end zooms and fast prime lenses which cover all focal lengths. I also have a backup third camera just in case, you can never be too careful.
Are you insured?
Yes I am fully covered as a professional photographer. I not only make sure my equipment is covered I also have public liability and professional indemnity cover. My Photo Booth equipment is also PAT tested.
How far will you travel?
I am a Bristol based wedding photographer so naturally cover weddings throughout the South West. Including Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, Somerset, Devon and South Wales. However I love to travel so would consider going anywhere in the UK or abroad, please just ask!
When will I get my pictures?
Usually it will take between 6-8 weeks depending on the time of year and my work schedule. However I will start editing ASAP and will give you a small first look of your images within a few days of your wedding to keep you going.
Once your photo’s have been edited, I upload them to a private secure online viewing gallery. At this stage you can ask for any changes to be made and choose your prints. Then when you are happy I will post out your USB box with your high resolution images and prints.
Who owns the copyright?
As the photographer I will always own the copy right to the images however I am happy to allow you prints rights. This means you can share the images with family and friends as long as it is for personal use. Any commercial use is excluded however if you would like to enter the images for competitions or publication this is something we can look at doing together.
How long do you keep our files?
Your online viewing gallery will be available for a year after your wedding date so you can go in and download the files again at anytime. After this time it is your responsibility to keep hold of the images.
Do you do shoot Gay weddings/Civil Ceremonies?
Absolutely love is love and all love is beautiful! I just haven’t been asked to shoot one yet that’s why there are no examples on my website!
