What we're all about
Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the key areas that couples spend their time on when planning a wedding. Venue, dress and choice of partner(!) are usually the only aspects that come before the choice of photographer. There are many professional photographers who each have their own approach to the task and each style will suit certain people.I aim to provide you with a record of your day, from the bridal preparations through to the first dance (and a little beyond if necessary). I'm not a huge fan of posed photographs and instead I veer towards documenting the special moments you share with your friends and family. We had OPA (Peter) for our wedding photo's 30th September 2016. We were extremely happy with our photo's & Peter's attention to detail on the day, he started with us at the hairdressers before hair & make up took place and believe me that was no easy task to make us all look beautiful. He started at 10.30 am & didnt stop until after the first dance in the evening. I wanted somebody that would take natural photo's of our guests as well as the usual family one's etc. He took 832 photo's all together some black & white, some colour, everybody has commented on how prfessional they all look & we have struggled to select one's for the album because they are all so good. The only thing i would say is, i had a long train on the back of my dress and I didn't feel this was positioned right in photo's, it may of needed to be laid out to the side or in front on some pictures or a photo of just me in the dress with a front & rear view. However saying that, the rest of the photo's made up for it. Thank you OPA for making our day special.

What is your style of wedding photography?
I have always felt that the best images are those taken at the right moment. It is virtually impossible to "create" that moment between two people with posed images and I tend to veer away from endless hours posing couples and groups. I aim to provide the newlyweds with a story of their wedding, from the bridal preparations through to the first dance.
Are you insured?
The short answer is, yes! I am also a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (www.swpp.co.uk) which provides you with assurances that I have the necessary skills and expertise to capture your wedding.
How will my images be delivered?
After your wedding I usually upload one or two images to Facebook as a "sneak peak" of what's to come. Within 6 weeks of the wedding day all of your images will be uploaded to my website in a secure gallery and you will be able to view them as well as share the password with family and friends. I will then order your USB stick and start discussing with you which images you would like included in your wedding album (packages 2 and 3 only).
If I select Package 1 can I change my mind at a later date and order an album?
Of course. I wish everyone would order an album because once the dust has settled they provide such a great way of reliving the special moments you shared with your family and friends. We're all guilty of keeping photographs on smart phones and computers without ever printing them. A printed image, either in an album or hanging on a wall, is something to be treasured.
