My name is Marek. I see myself as a modern day storyteller. And what better story to tell than of someone’s special day when two people become one. Joined by love. Your story, your vision, your perfect day. Captured sensibly and creatively through my lens. Every wedding is different and I always treat it as such. I shoot in an unobtrusive way, catching the ambience of the day as it unfolds with emotion and authenticity. All the characters and details...The big moments and the small ones, which are often as important.

My story...
My fascination with photography started when I was about five.
One of my earliest memories was looking through my dad's old photo albums, often spending hours glancing over the thick pages, spellbound by the captions from the past and the stories behind them.
I fell in love with the way the film camera captured the moment with soft, warm tones, summer haze and occasional lens flare…
Originally from Poland, I spent most of my life travelling the world and eventually settled in the UK some 15 years ago.
After much time in busy London, I moved to a small town in Kent and enjoy every moment in the countryside.
I'm a father of two, crazy in love with them as well as my other half.
We share a big house with two other grown ups, four kids, a dog, a cat and two hens. It’s just never boring :)
I completely adore my kids, who to me are the purpose of life.
What a joyous feeling seeing them grow, develop characters and love you back.
We are frequently around the country and abroad, experiencing new people, places and cultures.
We love being around nature with all her creatures (with an occasional exception of mosquitos:). Just the feeling of the wind on your face and the realisation that we are part of something much bigger can quickly put perspective on life.
Over the years I explored almost every genre of photography. In the process, I won the Open Architecture category at the 2011 Sony World Photography Awards. With time, however, I found myself drawn to portraiture and weddings.
I simply love shooting weddings and have fun doing it. Couples tend to pick up on that and we often laugh together.
I like to get to know my couples before the wedding. Their passions, dislikes, expectations and their vision.
There is no wedding too small or too big, too near or too far.

Meeting him the first time he was really keen to find out what we wanted and what was important to us, whilst also giving his own thoughts and having a very calming and reassuring presence. During our wedding day marek was almost like a guest, he mixed easily with our guests who all really liked him, ensuring he got some great, natural shots.
