I love working at weddings. The excitement is contageous and it makes my job so much easier. I like to work with the Bride and Groom to make sure I capture every moment they want and a lot more. I believe in taking photos that look natural as well as the usual group shots. This gives you a journalistic view of the day which tells the story of your wedding beautifully. I have had an interest in photography for over 25 years now and being a wedding photographer is like a dream to me! In my spare time I like to travel with my camera across the world seeing new places and capturing beautiful architectureI cover Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex & Cambridgeshire but If you ask nicely I will travel further! I have been flown abroad to shoot weddings in the past.

When should I book?
The wedding industry works 1-2 years in advance so If you have found a supplier you like book them as early as possible. I hate turning down bookings but I can only be in one place at a time.
Do I have to order albums at the time of booking?
No, Wedding albums and other printing can be ordered at any time. It does work out cheaper to order the package all in one but you are more than welcome to order after the event.
Should I have a 2nd photographer?
Adding a 2nd photographer adds a 2nd view to the day. Different angles during the ceremony and speaches. The Bride & The Groom getting ready etc. Also If you have a large wedding if help getting images of all the guests.
Do I have to feed the photographer?
I will never turn down a meal as it is a long day but it is not in my contract. If you let me know either way I will bring a packed lunch if required.
Do you keep back up's of my photos?
Yes, I have back up's of every wedding I have ever shot. After the wedding the first thing I do before going to bed is back up your files into two different places. If you ever need copies of images please ask.
What happens if your camera breaks?
You will see when I work that I always have two cameras on my shoulders. I also keep a further two as spare on site with me. All my gear is professional spec and in good working order.
Canon or Nikon?
I use Canon, I have done since i've started taking photos because thats what my Dad used. I use the Full Frame Canon 5d cameras and the Canon L-series lenses. I never use a memory card for longer than 6 months and I carry enough batteries to light a small village!
