What we're all about
Staffordshire Wedding Photographers Mease Valley Photography are the sum of two parts; Lyneth and David. We’re both married but not to each other; it’s always good to get that out of the way early, it saves any confusion about why David can’t remember the names of my children and why I don’t know what he’ll be doing on his day off.Like many great partnerships we’re chalk and cheese; he’s quiet, I’m excitable. He likes working discreetly, with a considered approach, he observes and waits patiently for those incredible visual moments, those few precious seconds when everything comes together to create the perfect picture. I’m more likely to be found reassuring a nervous Groom while I pin his buttonhole or making the Bride’s family laugh out loud with one of my unintentionally funny requests.
We work incredibly well together. David is the photographer, I’m the photographer’s assistant. I have an eye for what works visually and take pride in complementing David’s photographs with my own; often taken from a very different perspective.
On your wedding day I haul all the gear around, keep an eye on your timings, herd the family dog into the shot, chat to your inquisitive guests and pretty much anything else that will help David to do his job, which is to capture some stunning shots of your wedding day as it unfolds.
At the heart of what we do is the desire to present you with an elegant, visual record of your wedding day; images you’ll treasure and want to share, images that reflect your true personalities and make you smile when you look at them.

How many photographs will you take?
This will vary for each wedding, however after processing all the images you can expect to receive between 400-750 images.
Do you photograph details?
Of course! You have spent a lot of time choosing the “look” of your wedding so a record of the small details is essential. We are documentary photographers though so prefer where possible to show the details in context and as we find them. If there is a specific detail you need photographing on the day just let us know.
When can we see our wedding pictures?
Your images will be uploaded to a password secured gallery 28 working days after your wedding.
What is your style?
Our main priority as wedding photographers is to capture the moments of your day, the story of you and your partner, and the stories of your nearest and dearest. We are predominately documentary photographers and as such will only spend a short time photographing formal portraits. This means that you will be able to enjoy your day without being “bossed about” and will receive a set of images depicting beautiful “moments” from your day instead of images that are “manufactured” or “posed” and have little to do with who or what you are.
Are you fully insured?
Yes we have full professional insurance.
What about digital images?
You will receive your images in digital format with full printing rights as standard for all weddings we photograph.
