I was pretty hesitant about hiring a videographer for our wedding. Mainly because I didn’t particularly fancy forking out thousands for a cheesy, cringe-worthy feature-length epic that we’d watch once and maybe force upon our family one more time, before hiding it away in a cupboard never to be seen again. But I did know that I would miss so much of my own day and to be able to look back with my now husband would be lovely. My plea to Ross (found after several disheartening weeks of trawling through other people’s wedding videos) for ‘help I don’t want cheesy’ has been met with a video I know I will treasure forever. Ross has managed to capture our day in all it’s emotion – the tears, the laughter and everything in between, – I’m so delighted with the honest, natural feel to the piece and I now feel it was one of the best wedding decisions I made.

We were a bit apprehensive about having a wedding video - visions of our every awkward/nervous/emotional moment captured by a lens thrust in our face, but Ross was amazing - so discreet that one of my guests asked me why we had two photographers, not realising that one was actually filming! The result truly is the best bits of our day and just the right amount to share (especially with those guests that couldn’t make it). We absolutely love our wedding photos, but when we saw Ross’s film we thought ‘oh yes, there we are’ - it truly captured our personalities in a way that photos just can’t and brought back so many memories of the day that you forget purely down to the adrenaline and excitement! Having a videographer at our wedding was a last minute decision for us and wasn’t something we had thought much about during the planning process. As soon as we met Ross, we knew we had made the right choice! Ross was very discreet during the church service and so professional throughout the entire day, he edited the film in rapid time for us to watch back almost as soon as we returned from our honeymoon. Ross managed to capture the real essence of the best day of our lives in under ten minutes and we really couldn’t be happier with the result! We honestly just want to share it with the world! It is set to beautiful music that really compliments the atmosphere of the day.
