What we're all about
First of all congratulations on your upcoming wedding, it really is a special day and I hope I can be a part of it with you.
A little bit about me and what I do, these pages can be painful so i'll keep it brief.
I've lived in Dorset all my life, and consider it to be one of the best parts of the country, with stunning coastal landscapes, stately homes and chocolate box villages. I'm now lucky enough to live in one of those chocolate box villages with my beautiful wife Sam and my amazing children James and Catherine. I love holiday's, meeting people and of course photography.
I'm a member of the Royal Photographic Society where I hold a Licentiateship, and also the Society of Wedding an Portrait Photographers, meaning I can draw on knowledge and ideas from some of the country's leading photographers which all go into how I'll capture your special day.
In my spare time when I'm not photographing weddings, you'll normally find me perched precariously on a rock somewhere on the coast doing some landscape photography. I also freelance for events around the county and my work has been published in several local books.
My approach to shooting a wedding is to listen to what you want, it's your day, I have my own style if you want to leave me along to work and cover your day, but if you have ideas on what you want, then I'm always happy to listen and work together to turn your ideas into reality.
I cover a wide area of the south coast, covering all of Dorset, and parts of Hampshire, Somerset, Wiltshire and Devon.
There are four packages to suit all budgets and photography requirements, from just covering a small intimate service to a full day’s coverage.
I always meet up with and listen to the bride and groom to make sure I know exactly what you for your day. The pre wedding meeting normally takes place either at the venue or at the couple’s home around 4-6 weeks before the wedding.
Each venue is different and I always visit before the day to make notes on layout, photographic locations, and liaise in advance with the relevant organisers to ensure on the day there are no unknown restrictions.

Wedding days go by in a flash & although my memories of that day are currently fresh in my mind, I wanted Chris to capture the sequence of the day & how it happened, so in years to come we can look back & remember how it all came together.
