Hello! My name is Aaron, I live in the lovely seaside fishing town of Bridlington and I love taking pictures. I don’t think there has ever been a time when I haven’t loved photography.However it was only when I met my partner (Ellie) that I gained the confidence, rather she gave me the confidence to show people my photographs. Fast forward 3 years and here I am; a professional wedding and family photographer. I’m really lucky to be able to call my profession my passion.
I love photography and I love being with people on their special day, helping them capture the moments that will last a lifetime. The feeling I get when I present a finished wedding album to a happy couple is one of the best feelings in the world. Seeing the smiles on their faces when they open it, is a very close second.

Absolutely fantastic!!!!!! Cannot recommend Aaron enough. We had our engagement photo shoot last night and all the pictures were available to view the next day. We even got a sneaky peak a few hours after. As for the shoot itself it was brilliant. We took our two crazy spaniels Chester and Dudley and could not stop laughing all evening. Aaron made us feel relaxed (Russ was a bit nervous as doesn't like pictures being taken) and was really friendly, making it a fun and memorable evening. Aaron was fantastic photographer throughout the whole process of our wedding. This included the initial meeting where he made me feel so comfortable and at ease, the engagement shoot was fantastic where he got to meet my husband and daughter and they both loved him, he was so welcoming and professional, the wedding day was brilliant we hardly knew he was there and caught some fantastic action shots throughout the day. DO YOU TRAVEL?
I love to travel both domestically and abroad. Next year I have weddings in Europe, South America and in the Caribbean which I’m super excited for.
HOW LONG WILL YOU STAY AT THE WEDDING?
Each wedding collection comes with a set amount of time that I’ll spend with you on your day. These range from 6 hours to all day covering the bridal preparations in the morning all the way up to crazy dancing in the evening.
WHAT DO I DO IF I’M CAMERA SHY OR DON’T LIKE POSING?
Almost all of my wedding couples say this to me, and you know what… I hate posed photos too! My style is documentary which means I take candid, natural photos in the moment as it’s happening. I will usually do 10/15 minutes of posed photos after the ceremony and again at sunset (you’ve paid for a fantastic venue for your wedding, so we want to make the most out of it). These photos are very loosely posed in as much as I’ll ask you to grab hold of your partner and hug them, we’ll see what happens and capture the natural and genuine emotions of being a newlywed.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS ON THE WEDDING DAY?
As a professional wedding photographer, it’s my job to always be prepared and have a backup plan. It’s my job to know all the best spots come rain or shine and to have scouted the venue ahead of time just in case. This is the difference between hiring a professional and paying a friend or family member. You’ll be getting years of experience in high-pressure situations so that your day runs smooth like clockwork. I always carry a set of white umbrellas in my car as well just in case!
DO YOU TAKE COLOUR AND BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHS?
I love black and white Photographs, so I provide a copy of both colour and black and white of every final image on the wedding USB.
DO YOU TAKE GROUP PHOTOS AT WEDDINGS?
If you would like a few group photos to have a record of everyone who was in attendance, then that’s great. A good number is 4 or 5. Otherwise, it’ll take ages to organise everyone, and people get tired of lots of photos – not what they want to do when the canapes are being served.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR PICTURES AFTER THE WEDDING?
I deliver the online gallery and viewing session in person within two weeks of the wedding depending on honeymoon schedules etc.
HOW DO WE DESIGN OUR WEDDING ALBUM AND WHAT ALBUMS DO YOU OFFER?
I offer a range of hand made albums in a variety of textile and leather bindings. At the viewing session, we will talk through the various design choices and pick your favourite photos for the pages.
