Are you fully insured?
Yes, I have full public liability and business indemnity insurance. I wouldn't steam of working without it, and I would advise you make sure any photographer you use has it.
Do you use professional equipment?
Most definitely. I use multiple professional grade camera bodies (currently the Canon 5d range) as well a range of professional lenses. If any break whilst shooting a wedding, I can call back on the spares that I carry with me. On top of this I have plenty of extra equipment, from lighting to editing and image storage, making sure your images remain safe. Always ask what your photographers "plans B And C" are if they were to encounter any technical problems on the day.
