How would you describe your wedding photography style?
As a documentary wedding photographer my style is very relaxed and discreet specialising in natural/candid unposed editorial style wedding photography that tells the story. If you're after a style that focuses on natural, in-the-moment shots but with an editorial feel…beautifully composed, stylish and polished without losing the real emotions of the day, I'd love to hear from you.
Are you flexible on hours?
10-12 hours is a full day and 5 hours is half day photography. Having said that I like to be flexible and I can start and finish to suit your day. Some couples may wish for wedding photography coverage that is more than a day or isn't quite a full day, but a half day maybe too little...this is absolutely fine and we can come to an arrangement to tailor photography that works perfect for your wedding.
Do you take group photos?
Yes I do take group photos. Making a list of the groups you want photographed prior to your big day is always a good idea. I don't really like organising/shouting at large groups and staging people so I prefer to keep these shots to a minimum. If you want a few such as the bridal party, a photo with everyone and maybe one or two with parents then I'm your man. Couples who book me generally want me there to watch and capture what I see throughout the day, photographing it all naturally without influencing or setting the moments up. I firmly believe unposed natural photos make the best wedding photos.
Do you photograph weddings outside of Cornwall?
90% of weddings I photograph are in Cornwall but I am more than happy to travel so if you're getting married outside of Cornwall then I'd love to chat to you about your wedding plans.
How do we book you as our wedding photographer and when do you require payment?
I will send you a simple online booking form to fill in and once I've received this along with the 25% deposit payment via bank transfer, that books me as your wedding photographer. The remaining 75% balance will then be payable 30 days before your wedding day.
How many photographs will we get?
With the full day coverage you will receive 650+ high resolution digital photographs, individually edited in my signature style. With the half day coverage you will receive 300+ high resolution digital photographs, again each photograph edited in my signature style.
