Our focus is on people and moments – we're story-tellers who work away in the background to photograph your day in a totally organic, natural way documenting the real story of your wedding day.Of course, we’re happy to do the formal photos too, and we really look forward to the couples' photo session! It’s an opportunity to make some fantastic pictures of the two of you being in love and all that good stuff!
We’ve been told that we’re relaxed, down-to-earth, and fun to work with, and we think that makes having your photo taken a whole lot more fun.

We have just received our photos and mini movie and are over the moon! Chris and Ewan have captured so many moments that we missed during the day and that's exactly what I wanted from my photos. We weren't dragged away from our guests for hours on end - which we would have hated - yet we still have the perfect combination of bridal party/family/group photos, and natural photos showing the smiles radiating from our guests. How many photographers will photograph our wedding?
Ewan and Chris will photograph your big day, ensuring you have the services of two professional wedding Photographers in Edinburgh, Glasgow and throughout Scotland, from beginning to end. This also means one of us can visit the groom in the morning while the other photographs the bride.
How long do you stay on the day?
We both stay from as early as you would like till as late as you require. We don’t believe in charging by the hour for our services, so you can rest assured – when you book with us, you have us for the whole day. We don’t leave until we’re sure we’ve done a great job.
How many photographs do you take?
Typically we make up to 1000 images throughout the day. However not all of these will pass our strict quality control process, and some are shot from different angles and with differing styles. We will edit these down to include only the best images of your entire day.
How long will it be till we can see our photos?
We aim to have your photos online in a private gallery within three weeks of your big day. If you’re going on honeymoon they’ll most likely be ready for you to see when you get back!
Can friends and family view and purchase photos?
Of course, all they need is the password to your gallery(which we always ensure you have first). Then they can view and buy all sorts of things; from prints and frames to mugs and canvases.
Do we get a copy of the images you take?
Yes! All of our packages include a USB of all your photographs, supplied in a beautiful presentation case, for you to share and print to your heart’s desire.
Can I print the images myself?
Yes! Not only can you print and share all the images you will receive, but we can recommend some great printing services that will do justice to your wedding photographs.
Are you insured?
We sure are! We have full Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance, ensuring you complete peace of mind on your most important day.
Do you have backup cameras?
Yes and Yes! Between us we carry no fewer than four complete professional camera systems on your big day. We also carry backup lighting, lenses, batteries and memory. We come fully prepared.
What if it rains on our big day?
We’ll get wet! Seriously, though, Working as wedding photographers in Scotland, it’s an occupational hazard! There’s pretty much no weather situation that would stop us or our gear from working – often what seems like less than perfect weather can actually help us produce much more dramatic photographs!
Do you need food on the day of the Wedding?
We wouldn’t dream of asking you to feed us, however, we will happily eat if there is a spare meal or two offered to us! Failing that we usually just grab something from the bar. Not naming any names, but if you do decide to provide us with a meal then one of us is vegetarian. (It’s not Chris!)
Do you charge travel expenses?
Inside the central-belt area of Scotland, such as Glasgow and Edinburgh, we charge nothing. For weddings further-afield, there may be the need to charge a travel expense, and for weddings that are really far away we may need to charge for an overnight stay. Any applicable expenses will be charged at cost price and agreed in advance with yourselves, so there are no surprises.
