Guestbook Ideas

When it comes to wedding guest book ideas, there are plenty of alternative ideas for you to consider rather than the traditional notebook that guests write in. I believe traditional ideas are slowly becoming a thing of the past. I'm going to give you a handful of ideas of how to get creative with your guest book ideas for your big day!

1. Wooden love hearts- Consider getting some blank wooden hearts that your guests can write a little message on and post them into a clear box for keepsakes. Another way of posting the wooden hearts is to consider a clear jar so the hearts can be stacked up and easily released by unscrewing the top so the newly weds can read the messages at their own leisure.

2. Jenga Blocks-Consider purchasing a game of Jenga and getting your guests to write messages to the happy couple on each side of the block. A great way to still play the game but with all your heart filled messages attached to them to give you constant reminder of your big day whenever games night happen!

3. Message in a bottle-Consider getting your guests to write on small pieces of paper and rolling them up, tied with a piece of string once they are done for the happy couple to reveal after their wedding day.

4. Fingerprint Tree-Get your guests to put there fingerprints onto the branches of the tree that has been designed to create leaves. If you're guests do not wish to get there fingers dirty with paint, why not consider cheap eyeshadows and keep a pack of wipes and a bin for your guests to put their empties in!

5. InstaPrint- Why not get your guests to take a selfie and write a note for the newly weds underneath the polaroid and hang them off a piece of ribbon with wooden pegs- These snapshots can be kept as keepsakes for the bride/groom as a reminder of all your guests who attended the wedding- winner for the funniest snapshot!

Places like Etsy, Amazon and Notonthehighstreet are great websites to use to consider purchasing personalised guests books. If you have a theme or colour of your wedding, this can also be tied in with your invites/guestbooks to create a uniform look to your overall wedding day.

If you want to be super creative, why not consider doing your own DIY guestbook, again there are plenty of tips and tricks online that can help and guide you to create your own personalised guestbook for a fraction of the price!
